For solo & indie Steam developers

Turn your posts into Steam wishlists.

NextWishlist is your daily marketing copilot: it connects what you post to the wishlists it brings, preps your Next Fest to the day, and tells you each morning what to do next. No spreadsheets. No manual logging.

Next reachable Next Fest

Steam Next Fest (February 2027)

109 days left to submit demo for review (live before press preview) (2027-01-18).

Deadlines from Valve's official Next Fest rules, verified 2026-10-01. See all milestones

Marketing is the step most solo devs skip.

You post everywhere — Reddit, Shorts, X, Bluesky, Discord — but can't tell which post brought wishlists.

The rules are tricky — demo deadlines, one-shot Next Fest, launch discount caps, 30-day cooldowns.

Advice is generic — benchmarks mix your tiny indie with AAA games and old surveys.

What NextWishlist does

Which post actually brought wishlists?

We connect your Steam wishlist data (official Steamworks API, read-only) with your YouTube, X, Bluesky and Reddit posts, and show what moved the needle — with an honest confidence level, not magic numbers.

Zero manual logging

Your posts are detected automatically. No spreadsheet, no copy-pasting dates, no weekly CSV chores. You confirm or correct in one click — that's it.

A 2-minute daily brief

Every morning: how your wishlists moved, what worked, what flopped, and 3 concrete actions for today, timed to your Steam calendar.

Next Fest copilot

You only get one Next Fest. We tell you which edition to target, count down the exact Valve deadlines, and track you live against comparable games during the fest.

Price & discounts that follow Valve's rules

Realistic net per sale (VAT, refunds, regional pricing), wishlists needed for your goal, and a discount plan checked against every Steam rule — launch cap, cooldowns, wishlist emails.

Benchmarks from games like yours

We track thousands of upcoming indie games with demos — followers, tags, visuals, AI disclosures, publishers — so you can compare yourself to real peers, not to AAA outliers.

Read-only, always

We never post, vote or change anything on your accounts.

Data stored in the EU

GDPR-compliant, encrypted keys, your data is never used to train AI.

Sourced & dated rules

Every Valve rule we use links to its source and its verification date.

FAQ

Is NextWishlist affiliated with Valve or Steam? +

No. We're an independent tool. We use Valve's official Steamworks API with a read-only key that you create and can revoke at any time.

Do you need my Steam password? +

Never. You create a dedicated financial API key in Steamworks (we guide you step by step), restricted to our server IPs. We can't change your store page, prices or builds.

Will you post on my social accounts? +

No. All connections are read-only. We only read your own posts and their public metrics.

Is it only for solo devs? +

It's built for solo developers and small studios (1–10 people) preparing their Steam launch — especially the months before Next Fest.

When does it launch? +

Private beta starts with a small group of developers ahead of the February 2027 Next Fest. Join the waitlist to get early access and founder pricing.
